Having recently secured funding from People's Postcode Lottery, here is what our Chairlady had to say.

We can now really see & appreciate the impact of the grant for Children’s Leukaemia Society from the Postcode Community Trust.

During 2022 The Postcode Community Trust contributed towards the ground rent for four of our caravans as well as contributing towards other costs such as leisure passes, heating, electricity and fuel costs.

Due to the cost-of-living crisis, where we saw the majority of our costs increase significantly, the support of the Trust really did help tremendously and as a result we were able to support more families than ever before.

The support from the Postcode Community Trust helped us to provide respite holidays for 488 individuals who may not otherwise have been able to take a holiday.  These respite breaks were welcomed by everyone and the feedback we received from all families was heart-warming to read. We are so happy that we were able to help themwhen they needed our support and we look forward to helping even more families in need during 2023.

On behalf of all the trustees and all of our beneficiaries at Children’s Leukaemia Society, to you all in the Trust – we offer you our heartfelt thanks for your support and having faith in us and what we are doing to support families from areas of high deprivation.

Elaine Churchill,

Chairman
